Thurman Posted November 26, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2015 Harold M. Halsten, 98 Harold M. Halsten, 98, died Nov. 23, 2015, at ManorCare in Hinsdale. Mr. Halsten was born in 1917 in Chicago. He served in the Seabees 6th Construction Battalion in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Assigned to the 1st Marine Division, the 6th Built Guadalcanal's Henderson Field during the campaign.
