CNY Militaria Posted November 15, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2015 I have about a dozen of these for different Civil War Soldiers which I obtained about ten years ago. I am just now getting around to the necessary research on them with Ancestry.com. Imagine my surprise when I realized that two of them were brothers, and that one was a POW that died in Andersonville. RIP Soldier. Charles Hull, 24th NY Volunteer Cavalry, was captured in June 1864 at Cold Harbor, and died in Sept 1864 as a Prisoner of War at the infamous Anderson, GA prison of diarrhea. Jacob Hull, 24th NY Volunteer Cavalry, served and was discharged due to disability.
