48stars Posted November 14, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 14, 2015 Found early this morning at the swap meet for 5 bucks and offered 250- before I could stuff it in my bag. 5 minutes after that some other picker was informing the vendor what a good score I got as he told me when I was buying another item from him. I knew it was a great deal but didn't think it was such a big deal. All I can say is that the competition here is viscious. Not the first time I've been stabbed in the back either, one guy actually follows me standing close enough to hear my conversations. Was talking to a another vendor some time back about a fixed bail one day, and that vendor told me he returned the second I left to beat me out of it. I ended up with the helmet just because the vendor was pretty disgusted with the tactics he used. Anyway, here's the jacket.

48stars Posted November 14, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted November 14, 2015 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3rd_Tank_Battalion Looks like they were at Camp Fuji for only a year 1956 -57. Funny, notice how on the purple it says "CANP FUJI" insted of "CAMP FUJI" Not the first time I've an Asian made item that was mis-spelled. Not sure but I think they had the M-46 Patton Tank while at Fuji.

vintageproductions Posted November 15, 2015 Share #9 Posted November 15, 2015 That is a very tough tour jacket to find. The tour jacket market is soft right now, but this one is a much better then average jacket.

easterneagle87 Posted November 15, 2015 Share #11 Posted November 15, 2015 I agree with the M-46 Patton as i dont think the Corps had Sheridans. Tough to get an exact image right.
