ASMIC2971 Posted October 10, 2015 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2015 Picked this up at a Goodwill today. I wasn't going to keep it but I noticed a guy hovering around me while I was inspecting it, for $2.99 I decided to roll the dice. I passed on two sets of ERDL pants at the same shop a week ago, they were gone this time I stopped in as were two unpatched DBDU uniforms. I was sold on the fact that it looks handmade, by someone who knows how to tailor a shirt, and it has been starched at some point. I have searched over it a few times since I bought it and have yet to find any evidence of a label being attached. Is this even U.S. used? I know a lot of patterns were used during Vietnam, could this be one? I took photos of the shirt with and without flash, however, all the photos make the shirt seem more tan in color when the shirt in person it is more of a green color. WW2JAKE Posted October 10, 2015 Share #3 Posted October 10, 2015 looks like the honduras duck hunter pattern for the 70's. dont know if this is military or just a shirt
Sabrejet Posted October 10, 2015 Share #4 Posted October 10, 2015 I'd say it's a camo pattern "hula" shirt by virtue of its civilian style single breast pocket. If it was military it would probably have a pair of button-down patch pockets...IMHO.

firefighter Posted October 11, 2015 Share #7 Posted October 11, 2015 I agree that it looks like a "Hawaiian" type shirt. Is the material light or thicker like a jungle jacket?
