Sabrejet Posted October 9, 2015 Share #1 Posted October 9, 2015 This is one of my favourite patches. Can't show you the back because it's on a uniform. It's heavy bullion on a rich blue velvet ground.

BILL THE PATCH Posted October 9, 2015 Share #3 Posted October 9, 2015 I've seen a couple over the years on officers ikes, if I remember they had a bullion bdr. I always assumed they were Brit made. Is that an enlistedmans, or officer uniform?, beautiful patch.

The flash makes the blue and the bullion look somewhat brighter than they are in the hand, so to speak. It has a really nice slightly tarnished patina...the pic is also probably getting on for + 100% size-wise.

BROBS Posted October 9, 2015 Share #6 Posted October 9, 2015 I don't know... it seems like a lot of Italian made patches have this fluffy/velvet type gabardine? Just a random thought but regardless it's a beautiful and well-made patch! -Brian
