Darktide Posted October 4, 2015 Share #1 Posted October 4, 2015 Bumped into a bunch of these being sold at a thrift shop. They look like 3rd pattern OG-107's but as the tag indicates, they are made of twill and not cotton sateen. Buttons are the greenish type used in the late 50's/ early 60's. Collar tag has been cut but there are several ink stamps in the neck area. Stamped branch tape and "ghosting" where the removed name tape used to be. Tag/ label states it's twill. Were these made in twill? Am only familiar with the cotton sateen ones.

patches Posted October 4, 2015 Share #5 Posted October 4, 2015 Strange It looks like sateen from here. A real close up of material if you please.

Darktide Posted October 4, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted October 4, 2015 The button on this cuff seems to have been replaced with a even older button. The fabric used for the cuffs seems to have a different weave from the rest of the shirt (or is it just me?).
