Hi All,

Have an opportunity to pickup this USMC Baseball jersey. Identified as Pre-WWII. Can anyone confirm the era?

Only tag is the one shown below - Coane. Found another on eBay also made by Coane, identified as 40's-50's, however is all white.

I also haven't seen any others in red; just white and grey.

Thanks in advance!

Saw this one as well.Im guessing later as the word knit is in the lable.

The one I have from a vet who played on the Marine team in 1943 is grey wool with red lettering and trim.

This looks 60s era to me.

This style was worn up to the late 50's.

The WWII and pre-WWII styles are made out of a flannel material while this one is usually a cotton twill.

Thanks, gentlemen!

Doyler, I assume you're referring to the one being offered on eBay? If so, this is not the same jersey.

The one I posted is being offered locally. With that said, their asking price is $75, which I assume is on the high side for a post WWII jersey without provenance?
