Trevor M. Larson Posted September 8, 2015 Share #1 Posted September 8, 2015 http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/224656-ww2-color-photographs-japanese-prisoners/?fromsearch=1 I found this photo while doing some research after interviewing 95 year old George Olshove's 340th engineers. I quickly noted a resemblance and showed the picture to mr Olshove in person sure enough it was him! The owner happily provided a high resolution scan that I could make prints one of which I gave to George a few days ago. Managed to get some context of the photo it was taken in the lowlands of the Philippines in northern Luzon, the prisoner was handed over to the partisans, George thinks he Probally lived. Special thanks to the owner and to lt Bickel for taking the photo
