Shown here is a pair of USN pilot wings. The 3 inch wings are maker marked Balfour. The small wings measure 1 9/16 inches wide. They are impressed marked 1/2010KGF on left side. The right side has two impressed shapes the first being a diamond and the second is a square. Inside the diamond is either a R or a B. Inside the square is what may be a C. See hand drawn likeness of the maker mark. Is this a Robbins mark? These wings belonged to LT. W. C. Wagener. He was assigned to the Pacific in early 1944 as a fighter pilot. How would I find out what aircraft carrier he was on and which squadron? Thanks to all who are willing to help..........Dustymedals

The small wings are for the overseas hat and are made by Robbins and Co. in the 1930's .

Hand drawn illustration of the maker mark in question. The square impression has what may be an embossed letter C but it is not all that clear. The diamond shaped impression has an embossed letter R or maybe B. Is this a Robbins Maker Mark?
