Hi again everyone. I hope this is the correct forum to post this under. Anyway I picked up this lot at an antique store a few months back off of a call from the store owner. He knew I collected any militaria so he called me up and told me he got a bunch of uniforms and other bits from estate sales out west and was wondering if I wanted to buy any of them. I got to the store and saw a few little odds and ends. There were some German dress bayonets that were pitted and some even sharpened but I passed those up and got to the uniforms he mentioned. They were mostly Vietnam era naval uniforms and some ww2 navy dress uniforms. There were two Army jackets from ww2 but they were in sorry shape. I kept looking and saw the right sleeve of this marine jacket. I took it down t look at it and it was in beautiful shape with no moth holes and no damage other than a popped stitch on one of the rear coat tails. I looked at the other sleeve and there was the patch of the 1st Maine Division, which was my dad's division in Vietnam. I knew I was going to buy it but I needed to know the price. I looked at the tag and it had a big $80 on it with an arrow pointing to the back of the tag which when I turned the tag over I saw "please see cashier" on it. I went to the front and asked the cashier what the tag meant. She said that there was another item that came with the jacket from the same estate if I wanted to look at it to which I say sure. She opened a drawer and out she puled this mk2 knife without a sheathe. It has USMC stamped on one side of the blade and Camillus, N.Y on the other side of the blade. I immediately bought both of them as the knife was included in the $80 price so I paid $40 for the jacket and $40 for the knife (though I might've overpaid for the knife but I'm not sure). Anyway hope you guys like them.

Just a last name "Johnson" or "Johnston" I couldn't make it out accurately as it was in the left sleeve armpit and was pretty faded.
