Here's one of the several buckle versions used by members of the Union veterans of the Civil War, the Grand Army of the Republic:

113th Cav

 

Hard to see from the flash but the DI of the 113th is in the corner and the buckle face says 113th

 

There are a lot of units on these type buckles.

I just got this one today. It belonged to Cpl. Macedonio Leyba who was with the 200th Coastal Artillery. He was a Bataan Death March survivor and my uncle's father.

US Army 2nd, LT, 1st LT & Captain with the Philippine Scouts, Philippine Department, Zamboanga 1918 to 1936.  Prior enlisted service in the 13th Cavalry, 2nd & 32nd Infantry as a Pvt. Wagoner, Corporal & Sergeant.
