AAF Air Technical Service Command Sgt uniform

Picked this up at a local yard sale, but the sellers had no history on it (came from a storage locker). There are several laundry marks inside including W-9981, 2854 Williams C.A., and a red 9651. There is a photography specialist patch sloppily sewn on the right sleeve also. Not sure how to proceed with researching this one, any thoughts appreciated!

I would start with the W-9981....if it were me.

Also, on the lower lapels below where the collar brass would be, are holes where some DIs would have been. Is this the standard ATSC DI?

Had this for 3 years and just now getting back to it. Found this possibility, Clifford E. Williams ASN 19169981 (W9981), enlisted in the Air Corps on 27 Aug 1942.
