a6skin9 Posted August 8, 2008 Share #1 Posted August 8, 2008 Due to moving around so much and living in small houses 99% of my collection must be housed in a storage unit (for the last 6 years now). Over the last few months I have been digging through the collection trying to achieve a 100% inventory and photograph each and every item, this will probably take me into next year. The nice thing about it is that I get to rediscover some cool stuff and spent some time amongst my "babies". So with that said here are few telegraph related items.TG-5-B telegraph set, Designed at signal corps laboratories Fort Monmouth New Jesery; Serial No. 1730; Order No. 11384-Phila-42; Made by The Allen D. Cardwell Mfg. Corp. Brooklyn, New York with carrying case C5-49-A Fleron Signalor for instruction in codes and blinker signaling. Take two flashlight batteries and when you depress the key the light lights up and it makes a beeping noise. This one was used by the Navy for training. Fleron Signalor box set that held two units (which were unfortunately missing).

parafrag Posted October 23, 2013 Share #3 Posted October 23, 2013 I've always liked telegraph gear. You have some interesting pieces ! Anybody know where I might could find one of the CS-49-A carrying cases for my TG-5-B ?? I've had the set for years and I'd love to have the bag too. RustyCanteen Posted October 23, 2013 Share #4 Posted October 23, 2013 I have never seen a carrying bag for sale without the TG unit included, but you might find one if you are persistent. They are neat sets. RC
