6th.MG.BN Posted August 2, 2015 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2015 I"ve owned many webbed belts over the years but I have not seen anything like this thing. Early green color webbed pistol belt with copper "T" closure, 2 smooth copper keepers(with bent over ends) and smooth copper/ stainless(inside) pocker snap. Black metal "hook" fitting is unmarked. The copper "T" closure fittings are a 1/8" thick, very strong and very well made? Any ideas, timelines? Regards, Ken

Texas36th Posted August 2, 2015 Share #9 Posted August 2, 2015 I would say that they have been replaced with the copper so they could polish them up for parade or inspection.

Texas36th, I guess that could be one theory. Interesting how they used the stainless snap(reverse) on the smooth copper button.
