I painted all these fellows except the Michael Garman and I carved the AAF pilot in the A2. Btw that was my first ever attempt at carving a figure......I have never carved another.

My pictures are not the best but that pretty much is the jeep collection.

Bill the Patch.....do a search on google and you probably will find one on the after market. As you know these Danbury Mint Models are highly detailed. This jeep comes with a removable canvas top so you can display it with a .50 on the pedestal mount or with the top up. I have two so I show it both ways.

Thanks.

Patches the jeeps are at my office but I will get you photos of some of the really old ones.

Ronnie

Thats good, thanks, it will be interesting to see them. Do you know the exact year they are? curious to see if they made toy jeeps for boys while the war was in progress.

I can answer that patches without photos. There were balsa wood models made during the war. I will make photos Monday of those and others.

Patches here are some of the oldest jeeps in my collection.

Patches both jeeps in the photo above with trailers were made by Germans at the end of the war......from scratch. The larger of the two has steerable front wheels. They are signed and addressed on the bottom by the makers.

These are cigarette lighters and the larger one holds cigs as well.

Kat that is a 1/6 scale in photo #1 but I don't remember who made it. I did however take it apart and re-paint it. Added some things so it would replicate my real jeep. I also made the windshield cover.

Hey Todd did you notice my Sherman mixed into that jeep collection? It's a porcelain Jim Beam Whiskey Decanter.

You have a very nice tank collection. Don't give me anymore ideas.
