Well, I'm going to ask what I'm sure more than just me are wondering. If I got lucky (the Poster did, so there is a chance ) :). What would be an average value even if slightly messed up? Richard

Jeweler made emblems fetch between $1000-$3000 each depending on condition and pattern, the Breuninger above is one of the more common patterns of jeweler mades-not that jeweler made are at all common. Pairs of collar emblems/shoulder board emblems are about the same range...unless they're on epaulettes, which I've seen fetch $3500-$5000 a pair

 

It's hard to give you a solid price, as the market is constantly fluctuating and these don't appear often enough to get an accurate gage over a given period

Thanks for the remarks. And its true, they are still out there to be found. This ended up on a post WW2 Army Campaign cover somehow over the years.

A very rare piece, desirable and in outstanding condition. I've said it before, these are the epitome of the jeweler made devices and each one unique.
