Lucky 7th Armored Posted July 17, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 17, 2015 Hi all, I have an older friend, who is an USMC Korea Vet, and he constantly pulls my chain about the 7th Armored "doing nothing" or "saw very little combat". I believe he is mostly saying it in jest, but I believe this is actually what he thinks. I always remind him of the 1,300+ who were KIA, St. Vith, Holland, and the 100,000+ POWs taken by the Lucky Seventh during the war, but he still just shrugs it off. My question is: is this the common thought amongst historians and collectors regarding the 7th, or is this just my friend busting my chops?
