Found this on ebay for $25, it ls about 3 inches short of 6 feet long. You guys know more than I do, see anything that jumps out at you. The oldest button is dated 1900, one of the union buttons is dated 1942. I can try to take better pics of anything if it helps.

I see a set of early USAF gold cut-out collar insignia, nice find!

Found several of the non-military pins and buttons on the internet, some have a little value to them. Got to figure out how to display it, it is a lot of weight when held vertical.

The button of the Philadelphia Liberty Bell with the U.S. flag ribbon is a great find. That is from the 1915 Pan-American Expo in San Francisco, and was a souvenir from the Liberty Bell exhibit at the exposition (yes, they transported the Liberty Bell all the way across the country). Easily a $50-75 item on its own, considering the ribbon is in such nice shape. I sold one of those with the original souvenir card earlier in the year. The brass cut-out Air Force insignia is also really cool.
