Hi to all,

Let's see if I understand correctly :-)

1) collar disk for enlisted man's jacket ( type with screw on back )

2) insignia rank for Second Lieutenant ( no written on back ) but are WW2 and for what ???

3) insignia rank for Second Lieutenant ( ?/2010 STERLING on insignia and PAT. NO'5 2308412 2308424 on clutches ) I think WW2 but I don't know for what. Shirt ? Jacket ?

4) insignia for US Officers ( PAT. NO'5 2308412 2308424 on clutches )

5) insignia for Engineers ( no written on back ) I think WW2 for jacket

6) insignia for Engineers ( much larger and CAPA BRUXELLES on back ) I think WW2 but for ???

and paches,I think all WW2,for :

_87th Infantry division

_75th Infantry division

_36th Infantry division

_88th Infantry division

and

_5th Army

I'm waiting for your response...

Michele,

I believe #3 (Lt bars) are for a Naval or Marine officer shirt collar. Army officers wear the same size bar on shirt and coat. Hard to say if the other items are war time or immediately post war, but most pin back Officer items are from the 40's & 50's. Clutch back was used from the 40's to the present day, yours appear to be WWII type.

Nice group of insignia.

Cheers,

Henry
