gwb123 Posted June 29, 2015 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2015 More photos from my brother who attended this year's Reading WWII weekend, Reading, PA. One of the neat things about this event is that it also includes Home Front reenactors and settings. In previous years they have had Civil Defense and Air Raid Wardens. They have a hanger dance, Big Band Music both live and playing on the local radio station, actors doing old time radio skits... all to make it feel like the 1940's all over again. gwb123 Posted June 29, 2015 Author Share #2 Posted June 29, 2015 Female gas station attendants... a common sight during the war years... (The museum also sponsors an antique car show on a different weekend, so many of these sets are ready to do double duty.)
