MattOravik Posted June 11, 2015 Share #1 Posted June 11, 2015 Can anybody tell me anything about this? I have searched various combos but it brings up nothing. What does TDS stand for and is this WWII? The clutches are marked "Hermes" and "Made in USA." -Matt.

Rakkasan187 Posted June 12, 2015 Share #4 Posted June 12, 2015 The only thing that comes to mind is Tank Destroyer School.. Perhaps an intuitive officer assigned to the center had these made?? Don't know Matt.. Will keep searching though Leigh

td-seeker Posted June 14, 2015 Share #6 Posted June 14, 2015 Interesting piece. Have not seen any TDS insignia before but have seen TDG which often passed off as tank destroyer. TDG is not tank destroyer group but Texas Defense Guard. Do you have a photo of the back without the clutch fasteners on the posts? Maybe by looking at the back someone tell better it's age.
