Here is some random insignia I have added to the collection in the past couple of months that I thought I would share.

 

Pic 1 The CIB is sterling marked and the DI is screw back anyone know what the DI is? The cavalry insignia has loops on each corner like it was supposed to be sewn down and the unusual quartermaster pin is pinbacked.

Pic 2 - The Air Force Instructor badges is clutch back and is marked Japan on the back - Anyone know what the badge / DI is on the top right?

Pic #2 top right,SETAF- U.S. Southern European Task Force-although I have only seen this as an embroidered insignia,this closely resembles it,so a DUI ? Regards, Jeff

The Air Force Instructor Badge came in two classes: the basic instructor or the master instructor. It could be worn on the fatigue hat or over the right breast pocket. The ATC/AETC Instructor badge replaced this.

If you are referring to the insignia with the red arrow in the first pic, its the 128th infantry regiment 32nd division.
Very nice finds!

The DUI is 127th IR not 128th. The 128th does not have the rainbow behind the arrow
