Very happy with the results as I can confirm his participation at the Normandy, Rhineland, and Northern France Campaigns, having arrived in the ETO in January 1944. He served as a truck driver (light). I can only imagine the carnage he must have seen delivering fuel to vehicles actively engaged in combat as well as on Omaha Beach upon landing there, which their unit histories cover.
