KASTAUFFER Posted May 22, 2015 Share #1 Posted May 22, 2015 I have had this a long time and thought I would share it. Its a silver Bowling ( Tenpin) award to a soldier serving with the 59th Coast Artillery on Corregidor in 1938. He must have left the PI before the war as he was not KIA or a POW. It appears to be a multi purpose medal made by Crispolo Zamora in Manila for the Harbor Defenses of Manila and Subic Bays.
smwinter207 Posted May 22, 2015 Share #2 Posted May 22, 2015 Fantastic medal. I like the Coat of Arms. You can definitely see the Spanish influence.
