Proud Kraut

After a couple of weeks of (unsuccessful) trials to improve my skin-painting skills, I want to focus on something else now.

Last week I received my birthday present, a brand new Harder & Steenbeck airbrush gun. I already had a very cheap gun but never really enjoyed the results of my work with it. Now it's high time to learn how to achieve better results with the new gun. There are thousends of tutorials out there but I'm looking forward to learn much more from the modeler's community here. Please share you experinces, techniques, tricks etc.

When I was doing the "practice, practice, practice" drill in the 80s (!) to learn to use my airbrush, I must have put 1/4" of paint on a halftrack model, working to get the hang of it.

Good luck!

The Meatcan

Lars, is your new airbrush single or double action? How about your old one? It can be tough making the adjustment but as others have mentioned, practice makes perfect Good luck!
