CHASEUSA11B Posted April 30, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 30, 2015 Hello everyone. I found this plain blue Air Force jacket at the swap meet and picked it up because it had a name inside. It appears to be custom made in Korea so it is not dated but I was curious as to it's age. I thought it was modern of fairly recent but i checked and it doesn't appear this rank is used anymore. I found an obituary online to a Msgt William Haley who served from 1957-1977. Could this be his jacket? Is this rank appropriate and is it the correct time period? MattS Posted April 30, 2015 Share #4 Posted April 30, 2015 Could be his, looks like the right time frame. That's the old master sergeant rank used prior to 1991.
