stealthytyler Posted April 28, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 28, 2015 I am looking for a chart regarding WWII boot sizing. I see a lot of sizes followed by a letter (C, D, etc..). Does anyone know what the letters mean? Narrow, regular, wide? Thanks
WW2JAKE Posted April 28, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 28, 2015 AAA, AA, A, B, C, D, E, EE, EEE. As such, only the A and E sizes are further divided into sub-sizes. At the narrow end (A), additional letters indicate a narrower width, whereas at the wider end (E), the more letters equals a wider width. or at least thats what i was told
vintageproductions Posted April 28, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 28, 2015 D always equals a regular width.
ThompsonSavage Posted April 28, 2015 Share #4 Posted April 28, 2015 Shoe fitting at Fort Dix. All possible sizes are displayed.
GIJive Posted April 28, 2015 Share #5 Posted April 28, 2015 Back when things were made better, shoes were actually sized to the feet as close as possible, without being custom made. A being the narrowest size and E being the widest. WW2JAKE correctly posted the sizes.
