jbassmaster18 Posted April 27, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 27, 2015 My VERY good buddy (who is a picker) found this up near Rockford, IL straight out of the Vets estate. It sat in his collection and he decided to part with it. I traded him a few things for it. Front Seam Schlueter marked Fixed bail shell, almost new original paint, no cracks, or dents. The front is marked with a Red cross with the name "Richardson" within the cross as well as in the liner Suspension. Liner is a Mid war Green Washer MSA, the whole set is original as found. I looked at the Cross uner a lighted Jewelers loop and it is OLD paint. It has micro scopic cracks and LIGHT rusting in the very few paint chips. The Vet was a Corpsman in the Navy according to the Family. Sadly they didnt have any further history to go with it. Anyways Pics:

Mr.Jerry Posted April 29, 2015 Share #7 Posted April 29, 2015 I like it. I like the name in the cross that ties it to the liner, paint looks good, etc. Would be worth putting in a bit of research to see what you can find out about the man.
