I have this in my collection and have no idea what it is. The only marking are what you see on the hilt/guard (anchor and circle). It looks to be a converted spike bayonet.... Any ideas?

Most likely is a cut down Civil War bayonet, made into a fighting knife in WW2 during the knife shortage! Very cool....
