Hello, I picked this up at a swapmeet today. I got it for $30.

I was hoping someone could tell me more about it. Also, was $30 a good price ? How much is it worth ?

Thanks & best regards.

That is a great find for any price but I think you did well for $30. Of course it will be much better if named.

Keep me In mind if you don't plan on keeping it!

WWII era! If there is a name in it it could increase the value from what it already is. Value as it sits, I'm not sure... But for $30 you did very well, yes.

IMHO, Korean era or after

. Nope, rating badge changed in 1948 to the current caduceus all in blue and only left sleeve

Take some pics of the ega's.Possible they may date a bit later to me they look to be a bit glossy finnish wise.Maybe just flash from camera. The pattern was used well into the 50s.Could have been painted over or added later. What does the post and nut look like on the back? The sleeve rates are WW2 era.

Looks like the M38 EGA. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nice looking blouse nonetheless

D

Never heard of an "m38" EGA. All I know is, it's exactly the same as another EGA I have, which was confirmed to be WW2 Era. Note the Zink back.

The 37 pattern EGA was the standard worn in WW2 through Korea and replaced by the 58 pattern.

The one here is a WW2 era one with the zinc fastener.
