Friend of mine runs an estate sale so she saves items not sold at the sales and I get them.

Mixed lots and partial photo groupings:

There are a few more patches, modern WWII replacement medals, one original GCM (named) from 1946 etc. Nothing fantastic but cumulatively some nice items.

If you have an interest in anything let me know so we can trade.

Very nice finds from estate sales in which these items were unsold.

That's my issue. It seems that if the words "military items" are listed in the ad, every Tom, Dick and Harry shows up. It's the crowds that do me in some weekends.

My estate sale lady usually allows me to carouse the sale prior to being open to the public. Sometimes I cannot make it so the items are sold and whatever's left over she holds for me.

Sounds like you've got a good deal going. Oh yeah, nice items.

Words of wisdom, Never turn down anything. Be excited over nothing! The next item could be solid gold! Its happened to me.

Agreed! I've gotten some nice items from her. At one Estate Sale her Husband was assisting to organize the items for sale and was throwing away a bunch of Vietnam Era LRRP Rations. I hauled everything out of the garbage and recovered lots of items from a former UDT/SEAL. In this case I recovered some items from a previous estate sale (The photo album). Some will be donated to the Spirit of '45 event and some to my WWII Living History (the cookware) and I'm keeping the 48 Star Flag. I've gotten and sold way too many 48 Star Flags and so I am keeping this one for our Living History Encampments.

Good stuff, all of it.
