WWII US Homefront Store Window Display featuring portraits of service men and women.

I thought I'd share this photo I've had for a while of a store window display of portraits of service men and women from World War Two. There are pretty much all branches of Service including a Woman Marine and also several small toy military vehicles too which made for a nice display. No location was noted on the photo but it came from the New England area.

A small town shop here in WI did a similar thing for all of the local veterans. That inspired me to do a display in my shop of my portrait photo collection.

Here are some of the service persons pics on display in my shop. I hope to get up more shelves as I have a bunch more to put up and the MG 34 and Pzfaust will be moving. It's nice to see how people react to this when they come in. I also have a section of "Friends and family" for those we know that served and are serving.
