I picked this up yesterday from a local vintage clothier in Cleveland. A buddy of mine sent me pictures of it last week and I had been jonesing all week to get up there. I finally made it yesterday and to my amazement it was still there. It's in exceptionally nice condition with just a few minor issues. But the best part is that it's named to Private Edward R. Peleyko. I haven't had a chance to do any research on him but I'm looking forward to it. I'm pretty excited to be able to offer this to the collector community very soon. It's one of those pieces that you just want to keep but it will go to a good home.

Three soldiers, (left to right)Private Edward R. Preleyko, Coporal. Ignacio Castaneda, and Private Hector Fernandez, lie hidden in jungle foliage near Fort Clayton. The soldiers, armed with sub-machine guns, are called "Bushmasters".

Now that is nice! I have a medals, patch, DI's group to a C Co. guy, with copy DD98. Occupation prewar, "Cowpuncher"! To top it off, C Co is now here in Prescott (AZNG). Yup, a keeper!
