I found several threads on these, but none have photos (either photobucket or links to old ebay auctions). I found one today, made by MSA, Size M/L, no IR tabs, which as I understand it makes it an early one. Are these worth picking up (I left it)? I think the transition from PASGT to MICH/ACH and BDU to ACU were all about 2003-05 so there is a limited time frame for these covers. Can someone post a photo of a legit cover so I can compare it? Thanks!

I picked up the cover today. It has a black MSA label and black straps, anyone know if that makes it an early one?

Your cover was produced during the 2002-2004 period.

Thanks pump! I suspected it was a 'first gen' helmet cover, now to find an early dated MICH/ACH to put it on...

Here is an earlier one a CGF helmets with white label. There is also a CGF with black label . The the next version is MSA Gallet black label then just MSA. Will try and post other versions tomorrow.
Very nice, never seen the white label one.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone here is the pic of the other labels. I do not have an MSA Gallet marked one but I found a pic of one on an ebay auction to add to this thread. I will also start a new thread on the CGF white label to show its differences from the later cover if I have time today or tomorrow.

Thanks for that. It seems we have developed a timeline for these covers.
