The next West Coast Historical Military Collectors Show is coming up on May 8th & 9th, 2015.

This is the largest militaria only show west of the Mississippi river.

The show runs Friday & Saturday and then on Sunday, about twenty minutes away if the world famous Rose Bowl antique market, so you can make a great weekend of "picking" out of it.

For more info you can visit the show's website at www.militariashow.com

It's Pomona time again. The frigid Mid West and the North has been thawing out. Start looking and sorting thru your good Militaria items, get them packed up and start heading to California...no matter if you are a Hurst or a Joad...or even a Clampett..."California is the place you ought to be". I bought a new North Carolina Cadillac had had a couple of fresh cornary stents installed..."Raring to Go"...So join in Pomona on May 8th and 9th...its a Blast.

Jack, the Birkenstocks are Northern California not Southern California.

I'm sad to say this will be the first I've missed in my few year streak. I highly recommend it to anyone. Its the best show west of Kentucky!

I will be manning the ASMIC booth. Stop by and sign up for ASMIC. Get a free gift, too. You've read the posts, bring a little extra $ and save your wallet and your psyche by finally joining at the show. Knowledge is power, plain and simple.

For the first time in my life, I will have a sales table. Am selling collections for the widows of two of my friends. Armor triangles, between the wars patches, variations, knock your socks off airborne patches, uniforms, Stanton's OOB books as well as Stein's...all for sale. You can buy it there, no need to wait 5 days, 16 hours, etc. no one will run the price up on you. Buy ASMIC's "Best of the Best" Oct-Dec 2013 issue, know what dealers are talking about, (or not)....

Remember, no one has "I should have spent more time in the office" on his/her headstone...

I'll have my photography set up there in the hall office in case anyone wants to bring along any posthumous Purple Heart groups for inclusion in my books... :) Just find Robert (tarbridge) or Bob - they'll be able to point me out if you don't know me (no, I don't look like the Egyptian guy from the movie...) :D

Ah...what a bummer! :( (Not that I don't look like an Egyptian guy, but that you won't be there!) Next time, next time...

I will sadly miss the show as Alaska has me now and she won’t let me go.

Have a great show and spend lots of money you deserve it, and remember there is a finite supply of collectibles and more collectors every day.  It ain’t getting cheaper and it ain’t getting better.

Have fun and travel safe.
