roadrunner Posted March 11, 2015 Share #1 Posted March 11, 2015 Hello One more fascinating item from BB&B. I was outbid at this item. Sold for $ 412.00 A new version I've never seen before. All items I have seen like this are pinback so this clutch back could be late WW2. HAVE A NICE DAY Michael
warguy Posted March 11, 2015 Share #2 Posted March 11, 2015 Wow, I didn't realize these went for that much. I acquired a BB&B a few weeks ago. Mine is marked bronze and if I remember pin back. I will try to post a pic later. Anything you can tell me about mine? Era? Value? Thanks, Kevin
CNY Militaria Posted March 11, 2015 Share #3 Posted March 11, 2015 Glad it sold for $412 because it was mine! I received quite a few trade offers at a $250 valuation, so I am glad I waited it out until the end.
warguy Posted March 12, 2015 Share #4 Posted March 12, 2015 Here is mine, picked it up a few months ago. Would love to know more once again. I think it might be pre WWII or early war. Marked BB&B Co. Phila. Bronze. Looks about mint. Appreciate any help including approx. value. Kevin
MDR75 Posted March 12, 2015 Share #5 Posted March 12, 2015 I've seen these early Staff Badges between $700 - $900. I know that seems like a lot but these along with an engraved recipient on the back, and the only two of those I've seen are named to General Officers - late 30s early 40s, or the larger BB & B Chief of Staff badge are the least encountered. Nice cluch badge, never seen on of these. Mike
