Found a few more pieces this week, the well is deep and looks to be drying up quickly.

Canteen cover is very clean, k-bar is salty but cool that it is named the name on the shirt looks like J. Mc H Bowkin i think i don't have my glasses with me.  the USMC cormans knife is marked 44 and is a Briddell and dated 44 I think the handle has been varnished

I see UNIS covers and a Navy Cross in the background that makes me even more amazed! :o  Great finds and great collection!

Nice clean gear.Looks like a bit of USMC stuff there in Ak under the frost?

 

The SWI machete is a commecially produced item from the 80s/90s.

Thanks, medals came from a retired Air Force Col, the display hung on the wall in his office.
