Usa1918 Posted March 7, 2015 Author Share #30 Posted March 7, 2015 Thanks. I know when I pulled out the yardlong and saw what was pictured, I almost had a hormonal change And that was before I got into the box. BTW the rolled up yardlong is a camp picture of Guantanamo Bay circa about 1909 Keith

Dirk Posted March 8, 2015 Share #42 Posted March 8, 2015 I will make a guess and say I think #39 was taken in Hawaii in the early 20's and a quick check of Ancestry confirms he was there....I have seen those steps before and Pearl Harbor comes to mind. Usa1918 Posted March 8, 2015 Author Share #43 Posted March 8, 2015 Wow! Somewhere out there are medals and uniforms waiting to be reunited with this fantastic group. I know..His nephew had no idea what happened to the rest of his Uncle's stuff. Unfortunately it was probably discarded and the images and documents kept because it didn't take up much room.
