This summer I had the chance to stop into a consignment antique store that I haven't been into for a while. In the case was a WW1 yard long photo. While not a fan of the yard longs (they just take up so much room), I asked to see it. It was priced $300, but came with a box:

Almost 200 pictures and documents to George A, Plambeck showing his career from an enlisted man in the early 1900's prewar corps through WW1 (1st LT Supply Officer 2 Bn 5th Marines) continuing to him as a captain and Major in Nicaragua:

He also had the wanted picture and description for Augusto Nicolás Sandino, founder of the Sandinistas

This is just a small sampling of the images, he'll be my next research project. I spoke with the seller (His nehew) and he said he had no idea where the rest of his Uncle's militaria was. BTW I got a 25% discount on it too. :D
