Lancer-86 Posted February 24, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 24, 2015 I am currently considering purchasing a p41 uniform, but had a question. The sleeves seem to be a little darker green than the rest of the blouse. Is that unusual?
knd643 Posted February 24, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 24, 2015 Its not uncommon. A different cut of material was used to make the sleeves. You can see that on a good amount of P41's. Not just the sleeves but the torso also.

doyler Posted February 24, 2015 Share #4 Posted February 24, 2015 When these were made as well as the trousers they were completed with a different section or piece of cloth from a bolt of material. Not every bolt was dyed exactly the same. There were slight color variations due to production or from manufacturer to manufactuer of the cloth. You will even encounter this in the camo cloth/uniforms.
