Metal Detecting, unknown unit crest

It from the 91st Field Artillery Battalion, re designated in 1946 as the 91 Constabulary Squadron. During WWII the 91st was part of the 1st Armored Division. This piece would have had a German made pin with a circular disc holding the pin on. You can see where the disc was. This is in great shape for being found in the ground!

Nice DI.

Remember they are asking $50.That doesn't mean it will sell or is worth that much.I would say it's a $25-30 DI, but yours is missing the screw post and nut.Maybe $10? But everything is worth is only worth what somebody is willing to pay.Still nice for a dig find.

I wasn't trying to rain on your parade. The coolest thing I ever found with a metal detector was a bootle cap.To find a DI is pretty cool. The condition, minus the missing post, is pretty good for being buried for 60 years.
