Do you have a female family member in the military?

I had an aunt who was in the Coast Guard in WW2....

 

She said that she and a friend went to enlist, and decided on the Marine Corps, but after talking to the recruiter, they were filled up at the time,...and they didn't want to join the army really....so decided on the Coast Guard.

 

 

Very interesting about how she decided on the Coast Guard. Looks like this type of thing happened to women as well.

My wife served in the US Army Reserves from 89- 02.

 

Two of my daughter's serve as well. Geneva is a Yearling (Sophomore) at USMA, West Point. Savannah is a Plebe (Freshman) at USAFA.

Now this is very cool! Sounds like you have amazing women in your family. I know you are very proud of ALL of the women in your family.

Wife was US army reserve, we actually met in Afghanistan she was US army, I was Australian.
