Here is a mirror patch from Fort Harrison Montana where they trained in the United States. Not only the first one that I found but also the first image that I was able to obtain.

Did the glue holding the mirrors to the patches fail over time? I have only seen one with the mirror still attached in all my years of collecting.

Yes, the glue failed but more importantly the glue made the backing of the mirror turn blotchy rendering it useless as a mirror.

The WAVES & ALOHA are very nice

 

I set my timer wrong on the WAVES and missed out on that one. Only one that I have seen.

I've done the same thing.Missed on some good stuff, but also got some good stuff. It balances out.
