Good morning,

I'm running into an issue, my room smells like old supplies and smelly canvas. Anyone know how to get rid of this smell? I would appreciate any tips!

Thanks,

Jose

Why would you want to get rid of that heavenly smell??? I'd wear it as cologne if they could bottle it!

Haha I do too but not on my regular clothes! :)

I do have a window...I'm going to try to keep it open more, it's just that it's winer and the heater is on most of the time so I have kept the window closed.

incense.. candles...

though I like my room to smell like that. :)

must be some serious musk to be penetrating a closet. or do you keep the items in the same closet?

I wouldn't do that.

I like the smell too haha but not on my new clothes haha. Nope don't have any Militaria in the closet but now that I think about it I do keep two old Levi denim jackets in my closet...maybe thats it!

I don't know if you use dehumidifiers where you live, but I have found that they are really helpful in taking out odors. If I have an item that smells, I can put it in the same room near the dehumidifier and it takes care of it.

Putting some white vinegar in a small open bowl in the musty room does wonders. It will smell like vinegar for a time while the bowl is there, but once removed the smell disappears entirely and only leaves a fresh, clean smell.

I use coffe grinds and that seems to be working. I also open the window very often. The smell is still there by bot so strong!
