sigsaye Posted January 22, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 22, 2015 Hello! Welcome aboard. The white stripe around the right shoulder ou USN blue jumpers began in 1886 and ended in 1949. It was blue on white jumpers and means that the Sailor was in the Seaman branch. Red stripe on left shoulder means Engineering.
