USAF Shooting Team Jacket....George AFB

Picked this up yesterday because it was just too cool, a USAF shooting team from the Vietnam period. From the team patch it appears that the owner was part of the 831st Air Division. I have seen multiple Army and Marine used shooting jackets but this is my first USAF used one. The jacket is made by a sporting goods company with padding and an interesting layout. There are patches sewn onto the jacket, including a generic USAF command patch and George AFB nametape along with a really nice team patch on the back. It still has the earplugs attached too.

what an excellent find! and in such pristine condition. Very cool. Don't see too many of those, especially Air Force, in my experience anyway.

Thanks for sharing!

The USAF patch is actually Tactical Air Command.....not really "generic" since TAC Air was your attack elements. I understand you're just stating it's not a numbered squadron patch or something more specific. It's a kool shooting jacket. Any history on the original owner? A name?
