I have the bright blade 6-inch Kabar with the fuller, so I wanted to find the parkerized one to complement it. I would like some clarification as to which one of these, the parkerized or bright blade (or both), was purchased by the US Army along with other 6-inch hunting knives early in WWII. I think the bright blade Kabar was a private purchase for the Navy, and the one I have seems to have been on the escort carrier USS Solomons (CVE 67) at the end of the war.
