Fritz Posted December 19, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 19, 2014 Well, after a little negotiating I was able to add a fantastic named piece to my collection today, this was the personal sidearm of the late Brigadier General, ABSOLUTLY stunning pistol with two original mags and his original holster plus a spare ( not pictured). Now to do a little more research on his full career. Fritz

Hey Colt1911, I'm the fourth person to own it since it was purchased from the family in 1981/82 in St Louis, I personally know the 2nd and 3rd owners and I know who the 1st person is that sold the piece to my friend in St Louis but not personally. Truly a Magnificant pistol! Fritz

kwill Posted December 22, 2014 Share #21 Posted December 22, 2014 Fritz, That soft, calfskin holster is actually a U.S. issue GO holster. They got a kit that included a belt, buckle, a holster for the Colt Pocket Hammerless and M1911 or M1911A1. Regards, Kevin Williams
