camillus Posted December 6, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 6, 2014 I have read that most makers of the M4 1st and 2nd production knives used a star burst peen, are there any that did,t thanks Mike
Misfit 45 Posted December 6, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 6, 2014 M4s made during WWII all had the starburst peen, save one, the CASE manufactured M4. Post war, the only one I can think of that did not have it, is the Imperial M4. During the post Korean war, the M5 and M5A1 bayonets were being made which had both the starburst and a flat peen of some sort. At that time you run into the Bren-Dan and Conetta makers which, frankly, I know little about. Sorry. Marv
