SKIPH Posted November 29, 2014 Share #5 Posted November 29, 2014 Camillus- What is the makers name on the blade? I can only make out U.S. M3. Handle looks like a Utica, maybe a Kinfolks. SKIP
17thairborne Posted November 29, 2014 Share #6 Posted November 29, 2014 nice original early scabbard too!
camillus Posted November 29, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted November 29, 2014 Hi, SKIP sorry it is Imperial, the name is a little worn
SKIPH Posted November 29, 2014 Share #8 Posted November 29, 2014 Camillus- Reason I thought maybe a Utica, or Kinfolks is the blade marked versions of those tend to have slightly narrower leather washers just in front of the pommels. Might be a little shadow in the photo. Nice knife. SKIP

SKIPH Posted November 29, 2014 Share #11 Posted November 29, 2014 Camillus- Looking good! Imperial blade marked is a good start. Welcome to the addiction, for here it begins. Right gang!! We're here for you. One is not enough. Next you'll want an Imperial dated, then guard marked, followed by examples of all the makers, blade-dated, blade marked, guard marked, dual marked, blued, parkerized, 5-9 groove handles, M6 scabbards, all makers, M8, and M8A1 scabbards. Again Camillus, "Welcome to the addiction!" LOL!! SKIP
